ABC Confirms Pilot Order for Marvel’s Most Wanted

Well we have confirmation of what we already knew: Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood are shooting a pilot for Marvel’s Most Wanted, a spin-off of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Palicki reprises her role as Barbara “Bobbi” Morse, aka Mockingbird, and Blood in once again Lance Hunter.

Although the fact that a pilot had been ordered was widely reported back in August of 2015, ABC had maintained the shroud of secrecy typical of all Marvel projects at the network — refusing to confirm or deny that the pilot was indeed being shot.

But according to an article on Deadline, ABC President confirmed that the pilot is on its way at a Television Critics Association panel today.

“We are making it in the next few months,” Lee said. “It’s a really good script.”

If ordered from pilot, Marvel’s Most Wanted will join the already established Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter as they continue to flesh out their corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The casts and crews of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter have an excellent friendly rivalry going on. That rivalry kicked into high gear this weekend at San Diego Comic Con when both crews entered into a “dubsmashwar,” lip-syncing to small clips of popular songs on social-media site Instagram. Fans were encouraged to follow #TeamCarter or #TeamShield.
