Jocelin Donahue
Jocelin Donahue is an American actress best known for her lead role in Ti West’s critically acclaimed horror film The House of the Devil and for playing young Lorraine in Insidious: Chapter 2. She will appear as Lucy in the upcoming sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep.
Alex Essoe
Alex Essoe was born in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She is an actress and writer, known for Starry Eyes, Red Island and Midnighters. She will appear as Lucy in the upcoming sequel to The Shining, Doctor Sleep.
Alaina Huffman
Alaina Huffman was born on April 17, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as Alaina Kalanj. She is an actress and producer, known for Smallville, Painkiller Jane and Supernatural. Most recently she starred in the critically acclaimed Netflix thriller The Perfection.
Heidi Honeycutt
Heidi Honeycutt is a film programmer for The American Cinematheque and creator of Etheria Film Night, the world’s most prestigious genre film festival for women directors. She’s a film journalist, author, and active member of the film community in support of women filmmakers. She is an expert on the role of women in horror, particularly women horror directors, and is known for her writing in Fangoria Magazine, Famous Monsters of Filmland Magazine, and on Comingsoon.net.
Ruth Connell
Ruth Connell is known for her recurring role as Rowena in the CW series Supernatural. She was nominated as “Best Leading Actress” in the 2013 Broadway World Los Angeles Awards for her portrayal of Mrs Darling and Captain Hook at the Blank Theatre, Los Angeles in their award-winning production of Peter Pan: The Boy Who Hated Mothers.
Mali Elfman
Mali Elfman made her first micro-budget feature film Do Not Disturb in 2010. Since then she has produced many films including Karen Gillan’s The Party’s Just Beginning and Mike Flanagan’s Before I Wake. She is one of the co-founders and head of production of ‘Fun Size Horror’ which has released over five anthology features and 200 short films.
Elfman has directed four short films; Voice, Loop and Do You Believe in Ghosts, and most recently directed Locker Room Z for the upcoming horror anthology Scare Package that comes out later this year.
John Marcotte
John Marcotte is a Huffington Post Blogger, a TEDx Speaker and a 2016 UN Women’s HeForShe Champion for Change honoree for his work on gender equality. He founded Heroic Girls with his two daughters to promote gender equality through better representations of women in media.
