Role reunites her with ‘Dope’ director Rick Famuyiwa
Kiersey Clemons has inked a deal to star opposite Ezra Miller in Warner Bros. The Flash. Clemons will play investigative reporter Iris West, the longtime love interest of crime scene investigator Barry Allen, a.k.a. the Flash.
The Flash reunites Clemons with Dope director Rick Famuyiwa, who picked up directorial duties for the Scarlet Speedster after original director Seth Grahame-Smith dropped out over creative differences. They are still using Smith’s last draft of the script, though — which was based on a treatment from Phil Lord and Chris Miller
Clemons star is on the rise. After a solid performance in the indie drama Dope, she landed a supporting role in Neighbors 2: Sorority Row and is following that with a lead in the upcoming remake of Flatliners and now The Flash.
